RipRoster — Viewer Guide

Who this is for: the YouTube audience watching the live Rip & Ship show. This is the shortest of the three RipRoster guides — one page.

If you want to trade and have your own cards revealed, you join the store as a member; see the Member guide. If you run the store, see the Streamer / Shop guide.

1. What you see as a viewer

You watch the live Rip & Ship stream on YouTube. When a trade is completed on-air, the store's on-screen overlay animation reveals the two cards and the traders' names right there on the stream.

The name shown for each trader is their YouTube alias if they set one, and otherwise their app @handle. There is nothing to click and nothing to sign in to — you just watch.

2. There is no viewer login or viewer page

RipRoster has no public or anonymous viewer surface. There is no viewer login, no viewer page, and nothing in the app for the audience to open. The former in-app viewer page was intentionally removed — the show happens on the real YouTube stream, and the overlay reveal plays there.

To actually participate — to trade and have your own cards revealed on stream — you join the store as a member. Your streamer gives you an invite code; redeem it to become a member. See Member guide §1 for the join flow.

3. How the names on screen work

The name on a reveal is the member's YouTube alias if they set one; if they left it blank, it falls back to their app @handle. If you are a member and want the audience to see a specific name, set your YouTube alias in your profile — see Member guide §3.
